Trevor Steven
Oporto Sports is delighted to have a working partnership with former Burnley, Everton, Glasgow Rangers, Marseille and England international, Trevor Steven.
Steven enjoyed a glittering career as a player, winning the English League title twice, the French League once and the Scottish League six times, as well as the Cup Winners’ Cup, FA Cup, four Charity Shields, two Scottish League Cups and the English third tier title.
He was capped 36 times by his country, playing in the 1986 and 1990 World Cups, and Euro 88 and 92, scoring four goals.
Following his retirement in 1997, Steven has formed a well-respected career in the media, working for various broadcasters including the BBC, RTE Sport and for nearly a decade in the Middle East with beIN Sport. He also recently took part in the film ‘Howard’s Way’, telling the story of Everton’s finest years under Howard Kendall, including the club’s only European triumph to date.
