Oporto works closely with former England international striker Emile Heskey.
Leicester-born Emile commenced his professional playing career with his hometown club, Leicester City, where his performances led to a multi-million pound transfer to Premier League giants Liverpool in 2000. During his time at Anfield, Heskey won the FA Cup once, a brace of League Cup titles and the UEFA Cup. The recipient of 62 England caps, which included appearances at three World Cup finals and Euro 2004, Heskey also enjoyed spells with Birmingham City, Wigan Athletic and Aston Villa, before signing for Newcastle Jets in Australia.
A brief spell with Bolton Wanderers preceded Heskey’s retirement from playing in 2016. Since then, Heskey has penned his autobiography Even Heskey Scored, alongside Oporto Sports director, Dean Eldredge.
