Dean Eldredge
I am an experienced FIFA-licenced football agent, representing a number of high-profile and talented managers, coaches and players. I supplement this working as a publicist for my clients, as well as being a published author and ghostwriter. I am skilled in the areas of agency, negotiation, career advice, PR, marketing and brand management, amongst other aspects of the industry.
I have completed a number of deals and contracts and have a strong network within the game and a first-class reputation. I regularly attend games across all levels in the UK and overseas, and have a sound knowledge of clubs and key relationships, adopting a pro-active attitude towards helping my clients realise their potential whilst maximising their career.
A chronological background on my career since becoming self-employed:
Having established a full-service marketing agency, Soar Media Ltd in 2007 with my business partner, Gary Webster, I created Soar Magazine, a quarterly sports, health and lifestyle publication for Leicestershire, and worked as press officer and latterly as a communications consultant for Leicester City Football Club, strategically leading their media operations from 2009 until 2012, whilst developing their Matchday Magazine ‘City’ in to a multi award-winning publication from 2010-2022.
In 2012, I co-founded Oporto Sports Ltd, further developing our portfolio of clients and partners, whilst working closely with sports clubs, individuals and industry partners and suppliers.
During 2014, I authored England Rugby World Cup winner and Leicester Tigers legend, Neil Back’s autobiography, The Death of Rugby, sourcing a publisher, whilst coordinating PR activity, with the publication released ahead of the 2015 Rugby World Cup. In 2017, I authored former England, Aston Villa and Manchester City footballer, Darius Vassell’s autobiography, The Road to Persia, and helped him to self-publish the book. I also authored Emile Heskey’s book Even Heskey Scored, released in September 2019, which was shortlisted for Autobiography of the Year at The Sports Book of the Year Awards.
I also coordinated the development of the award-winning documentary of Sven-Göran Eriksson, which received a global release on Amazon Prime in 2024.
