Oporto Sports would like to share our congratulations for our PR client and friend, Chris Powell, on the award of his MBE earlier this week.
Powell was made an MBE for services to football, and was awarded the honour by the Princess Royal at Windsor Castle on Tuesday morning.
In a statement via X (Twitter), Powell MBE wrote on Wednesday: “It was an honour to spend yesterday at Windsor Castle with my mum, my wife Sophia, and our children, to receive my MBE. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me throughout my life and career. I am truly grateful and humbled.”
